What do you think?

Finally completed this game which looks like still in WIP?
Nonetheless, it was fun :D, I love the xploration part :D
There are still inaccessible areas yet and I'm still wondering about empty spot in lighthouse

I thought this game has ghost enemy types until I met ghost skeleton which is actually a silver beast! Did beat 4 of them though :D

I hope there will be more update to this game

Hey, I just wanted to say, I randomly found this game one day, and I absolutely loved playing it! I've always wanted to play a Zelda game that plays like Zelda II, but with more conventions from the modern games.

I know you said the game is finished in a comment down below, but aren't there still a few unfinished areas? There was stone circle and a dock that the game said were unavailable in the current version, and the ending of the game implies there's another world to go through. Plus, though I may not have figured it out yet, I can't get into the hidden ruins in the north. Zeus just won't let me in, or something. :P Regardless, I hope you either continue to develop this game or make another game, because this was a blast to play.

Hello my name is superior I'm the one on YouTube support of your game and I really really really enjoyed your game Legend of Zelda 2 adventure of link is my favorite game of all time I saw you update last week ago about the master sword and you doing a really good job with the project please tell me some more updates when you get a chance okay buddy

im stuck in the level 4 dungeon, i tried the best to progress, is there something then i miss?

Dude this game is awesome. I finally got around to playing through Zelda 2 last month and really liked how it played. After beating that game twice I found your project online. Great work man, really fun game. I’m on my new game plus playthrough now. Something I would like to mention is how I really appreciated how the artwork was sized and presented to look like an actual SNES or NES game. In fact, I played through the entire game at the snes/nes resolution of 256 x 224 resolution on a CRT monitor and it worked great! I don’t know if you care about CRTs and scanlines and whatnot, fine if you don’t, but it was a nice cherry on top for me. I have some pictures of what it looks like, doesn’t do it the greatest justice compared to seeing it in person (plus online compression) but it gets the idea across.

Thanks again for the great game man. I might have cheesed dungeon 4 though lol.

Overview

In this adventure/ rpg you play as Albus, who gets trapped in the land of Miterra by a nebulous wizard. In order to return to your own world, you must locate magical relics of a lost age. Explore vast fields and dark caves for hidden treasure and fight your way through perilous dungeons.

This game acts as a spiritual successor to Zelda II, with similar gameplay but with many improvements and new features. There are 3 difficulty levels and multiple ways to specialize Albus, so please enjoy!

After many monotonous & tedious hours, I've converted the game to 60 fps! This version (1.7.0) also includes some minor physics improvements and bugfixes. Enjoy!

Updated to (hopefully) work with Xbox controllers now. I don't own one myself so I can't confirm it D:

Version 1.6.0 is now live, adding gamepad support and other QoL improvements, including... slopes!

I actually ran into a ton of bugs implementing all this, but it was well worth it.

Good news: I recently discovered a project called GM8.2 Core that fixes a lot of issues with old Game Maker, which my games are based on. This means that I'm finally able to add gamepad support(!), along with other neat stuff.

Happy Zelda month! Here's a short preview of the Shrink spell! As you can see, it's not very well suited for combat...
