Kata gains ghost like abilities, night vision and super speed, however looses his ability to open his mouth clearly as his mouth is sewn shut by vines making him only being able to communicate by load piercing screaming. His new mouth is used as a replacement for eating it's prey. Kata uses his vines as cutting tools and claws to gather objects around.
He was corrupted by a Ink gas breakdown on a conventional store he was in, slammed into the glass onto some berries in a pokemon themed Cafe by Mimickyu like corruptant. As he was brought back to life by the gas, he ate the berries until it grew on kata's body. He will dash accelerating to almost as fast as sound slicing anything from its path now.
