Fully intended to get a lot done, maybe enough to bring battling back up. Instead, ended up spending four hours trying to figure out what in the fridge a drunk uncle was thinking when he wired my in-laws' house fifty years ago

For anyone interested, I have the hot main (black) feeding into a switch that then branches (red) to two different switches for two different lines (one laundry room, one hallway). Then there's a second mystery hot black on the switch and a third hot black just sitting live in the box, not connected to anything

Laundry switch has a black feeder from the aforementioned switch and a red feeder going to the hallway switch which has two blacks and a red.

Yes, the uncle was the certified town drunk.

Oh no! Jelly blobs of doom!

They're only supposed to be the size of a mini-yux

But doesn't he look so much more prepared for adventure?

And yes, she is carrying a deer foot staff, modeled after one hanging in our house

Behold my beautiful canoe!

With exception of some minor odds and ends, the home interior sheet is finished, which means I can start on all the levels. The next house (level 9) is an old farmhouse, the kind that had a bazillion rooms

Madeline is the main protagonist of the mountain climbing platformer, Celeste. The game has been praised for its visuals, gameplay, and introspective narrative. The game's creator Maddy Thorson confirmed that Madeline is trans in 2020.

Doing some designing of the main village, mostly so I can get some connections in and get the next part of the opening cutscenes roughed in.

Happy Video Game Day!

July 8 is Video Game Day, a holiday that's obviously close to our hearts at Game Jolt.

Celebrate by completing our quests! They won't be around long, so get the rewards while you can.

Ah, yes, Grandpa and Grandma's old farmhouse, with a million rooms, basement full of mason jars, and the old '57 Chevy in the garage

I mean, not my Gramma and Grampa, but someone's, right?

Lots of modeling the last few days. Got some houses made, remade some of my terrain blocks (rebuilt the harbor), and started on the NPC models. Also worked on the battle system and the follower system, now with 1/10th the code but 10x more efficient

Dive into the cozy post-apocalyptic open world of Critter Cove!

Gentleman Rat Studios (@GR-Rob ) describe it as “a little bit Animal Crossing, a little bit Stardew Valley. Maybe even a little bit Windwaker, too."

Wishlist the game: https://bit.ly/CritterCove

Today's accomplishments include a rather smooth state machine, a functioning opening cutscene, and name input. It's not pretty, but there aren't any bugs
