New update for my Spectator Camera: It now detects object collisions and dynamically adjusts the focal length for better framing. Check out this extreme case where the action happens right next to a wall! #GameDev #UE5 #IndieDev #LoboGame

Boss battle on mobile device (prototype)

So far this is only a test, in the future it will be finalized.

More improvements in my Spectator Camera:

- Spawns perpendicularly to the attack direction for consistent framing.

- Focuses on the victim's head.

- Collides with the environment and auto-adjusts the focal length for optimal shots.

As a solo game developer, I have to be creative in turning limitations into features. Since I'm not an animator and can't hire one, I developed a dynamic comic strip system for storytelling instead of cinematics. Here’s the first step—still a WIP!

The Gnome Gang has been tormenting the inhabitants of the Toscana since the world went into the eternal night. They are chaotic, annoying and mildly dangerous. Probably a tiny bit more of a threat now that they have learned how to make bombs.

Breaking down the AI for the enemy in Lobo, revealing how to fake smart and complex behaviors. 🎮🤖
