Here's the current status for that comic series project.

I'm gonna make a oneshot comic first that has a connection to that comic but is more of a sidestory-gaiden to the first issue of what will be my series.


I just felt it a good idea not to overwhelm myself as this is one of the few times I've dipped my toes in making comics, and I oughta give myself a headstart before I dive into "GOTTA MAKE 1000 CHAPTERS OF THIS!"

Even then, I'm planning to make something that spans close to 6 chapters, an even number or just a bit more if the main story's pacing calls for it.

For now, I will pre-design the core cast of my series.

Then begin working on the oneshot that will involve the impoverished small-town community south where anything goes, and if the town hates you or you've done something VERY wrong, you're in lynching territory.

Here's an early peek at my wip

I drew something macabre in ms paint a while back

WIP of my series protagonist who used to be a one off team member in my original series but I really liked the process of making her so much more than my other character ideas that now I built the world around her, instead of her around a world.

I've noticed a pattern in my art. I will switch it up, just give me a sec to be obsessed first

painting is going good, and I'll everyone soon with something beautiful.

Her name is Betsy Abernathy. She's a southern flannel moth that lives in the demilitarized zone that now are the Appalachian continents of the Americas in my universe.
