Hey everyone, it's been a while! Read the Article for an actual update.

I added a shield throw ability to the game. No indication yet, but it does more damage the more it bounces. I hope your trick shots are on point!

UPDATE:

I was heavily affected by Covid, and other circumstances have changes. As a result, Blooming Darkness is no longer a priority as much as it pains me to say.

I may try one last serious push to get the game seen, and if it works then I may come back... but right now, I have to focus on more important things.

However, that doesn't mean I'm done with game development! I'm trying to shift towards smaller, and more marketable projects. Maybe you'll even see one of them in the coming months... maybe

Yo, I'm back! I've been busy with life but that hasn't completely stopped me from working on Blooming Darkness.

For example: I replaced the 1st boss due to a story change and now it's being playtested

I updated the banner for my game! It's based off one of the first original pixel art pieces I ever drew (2nd picture).

Art isn't an area I'm strong in, so I'm pretty happy with this! Well, for now at least.

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

This ability won't be in the demo, but I wanted to show it off anyway. Also, this was totally done first try and was definitely not spliced!
