A patched #Demo of #BloomingDarkness has been released! This should hopefully make the controls less awkward and decrease the difficulty a bit.

Like I said before, Blooming Darkness is no longer a priority. However, I felt the need release at least one patch.

And again, I do want to come back to this eventually! I've spent years crafting the lore and science of this world, and I'd love to share that with you all!

I'd also consider changing the combat to a weapon, sub-weapon system, with simple combos.

Oh yeah, Patch Notes:

  • You now start with a weak Double Jump

  • Prologue platform challenges simplified + more floating hint text

  • Sytholite Robot nerfed

  • Post-Prologue health increased + more healing items

  • Lumeetal Brute ramming attack fixed + Lumeetal Ace nerfed

I added a shield throw ability to the game. No indication yet, but it does more damage the more it bounces. I hope your trick shots are on point!

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.
