Testing out a work-in-progress battle system, along with Pixi.js filter applied in battle (see the god rays). I know that some of the animations look weird. That’s because VX Ace assumed that you’d use a small screen (where’s MV has better-designed animations for larger screens). And since I’ve imported the animations from VX Ace (Immortal Sins runs on VX Ace), the animation code also transitioned as well. This will be a pain to fix… :(

I’m pretty sure that you are wondering: Why am I showing this? Well… I can’t talk about what I’m working on (in parallel with preparing D0.20 Update 5) since it still needs work. Maybe when I have a public beta ready, you’ll know what I am working on (but old followers may know exactly what I am working on). Do note that I’m not confirming anything yet.

So… What do you guys and gals think? Let me know in the comments below, in the poll or both (whichever works for you).

I’ll see you guys in the next post.

A small teaser for the next update.

Enjoy a nice dish, get a nice buff. What's not to like?

Added a simple audio system to the launcher.

Wrote a tool that installs the game's dependencies. That means Northbridge will always use the latest version of the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime.

Overhauls on the way.

It's pretty early, but here's a look at a mob manager, handling the enemies in the game. The code streamlines the programming of the enemies. Hopefully, I can expand it to more useful ways.

While I'm preparing August's Monthly Sync, I'm preparing a Trello board for the game. You can see what I'm working on here. https://trello.com/b/CjFyzH50/immortal-sins-game-development Pardon my dust, while I'm getting this up and running.

Something something... Stuff that I worked on.

Waz zis? An overhauled map? Yes. Coming soon.

A bit of an old but goodie coming back: Quick Load! In an upcoming update, you can jump back to where you left off with a push of a button.
