The art team for our indie action adventure game Usual June is not joking around when they talk about creating ✨atmosphere✨
Usual June's animator Mike Kersey has put a lot of thought into the way all of the characters in our game move! Here are some of his thoughts on how June fights in the game.
Madeline is the main protagonist of the mountain climbing platformer, Celeste. The game has been praised for its visuals, gameplay, and introspective narrative. The game's creator Maddy Thorson confirmed that Madeline is trans in 2020.
We asked Usual June's Director Adam Saltsman to talk a little bit about the combat in Usual June.
We're still plugging away at the game, but here are some of the things he hopes to emphasize in the final game! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2702430/Usual_June/
Game Jolt Colors is back!
Draw your OC (or favorite character) in the Game Jolt color palette and post them in the Art realm with the tag #GameJoltColors25.
At the end of the event, we'll pick a winner & add their design to the GJ Colors sticker pack!
Artist Richard Hogg illustrated over 60 different puzzles for Wilmot Works It Out! Watch his process for one of our favorites here!
This chill game is available now for PC, Mac, and Switch! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2060590/Wilmot_Works_It_Out/
We've published games like Night in the Woods, Tunic, Chicory: A Colorful Tale, & I Was a Teenage Exocolonist. Now we're developing Usual June in-house and we think you'll love it as much as the other projects we've worked on!
Dive into the cozy post-apocalyptic open world of Critter Cove!
Gentleman Rat Studios (@GR-Rob ) describe it as “a little bit Animal Crossing, a little bit Stardew Valley. Maybe even a little bit Windwaker, too."

This is what June's quiet summer break was supposed to look like. Instead, she's gotta make new ghost friends and save the world. I hate when that happens.
