Hello everyone! J here.
Well... the time has come. This is the final Update before the demo releases... It feels so weird! In a good way!
After the demo releases, the way updates are handled will change. They'll no longer be separated in Mini Updates & Updates—instead they'll all become "Progress Reports". They can be big or small, and may or may not show new things off. In general, they’ll serve to 'report' our 'progress'... Haha, get it??? ... No?
Well, enough of me blabbering... let’s get into this final Update!
GENERAL PROGRESS
Like said before, progress has really took off, and the demo is extremely close to coming out. All random enemies are finished, all scenes and NPCs that needed alterations are also done. And, of course, there's Papyrus. His battle has also been completed, at the time of writing this! Huh? Papyrus's date? Sorry, you won’t be able to do that in the demo.
Overall, with the demo, the game is now at the 32% completion mark! What that means is that the demo, which goes all the way up to Snowdin, is finished! At the time of writing this, all that is left is the testing stage.

- A great musician who I worked with in previous projects. You should check out their music!micro__phone - Amazing playtester introduced to me by Wild. Caught a bunch of bugs in his playthrough, which led to me getting him in.

- Awesome programmer who's been helping quite a lot. You should give his UNDERTALE mod project, UNDERTALE Restored, a chance! It's turning out very awesome.@Oktav99a
- Another amazing programmer who's been a huge help, especially in programming Papyrus's battle. You guys should totally check out his DELTARUNE fangame, a version of that old "Your Battle" fangame for UNDERTALE, but now with DELTARUNE's battle system!@mrCalamity
- Our latest member. He has also worked with me in a previous project. He is a great programmer, and he is working to create a website for Director's Cut! Expect updates on that sooner or later.
SCRAPPED?!
Now, I'd like to mention that something previously shown has been scrapped. That being, the stronger versions of the vanilla equipment. There are two reasons for that:
1. It doesn't really fit within Hard Mode's concept. The main idea in it is to make your life hell, even to extremely troll-y extents. Thematically and in-universe it could work, as it shows the humans had to be stronger to survive, and yet they still failed, but... ehhh...
2. Balancing the enemies was a lot harder, due to the stronger equipment. Just wasn't exactly worth the effort, in my eyes.
HOWEVER, the brand new equipment I mentioned, such as the Snow Scarf, will still be in the game!
SUSPENSE...
The Dummy in the RUINS has gotten stronger! How rough. It now has a more beat-up design, caused by the other monsters around. Its also slightly stronger, with an actual attack! I'm sure you'll know where its from. It even wields a completely new reaction from Toriel!
The track Anticipation also got a new version—using only the piano melody in the background of Stronger Monsters. It was made by @Pinkkpearl

In the QnA, we mentioned a few items would be changed up to be more unpredictable, to keep you on your toes. One of these items is Nice Cream, which is now the Vice Cream!
