-dorodangos: a new currency for the shop
-titan exterminator: a new special enemy


additions

  • mr bloom's shop

    • a place to buy upgrades and powerups using dorodangos

    • 2 permanent upgrades

      • tripwire
        activate emp when enemy reach left of battlefield

      • field repairs
        restore ally health by placing the same ally on it

    • 2 single-use powerups

      • secret stash
        start with 100 extra scrap

      • spare batteries
        start with all cards charged and ready

  • a new currency: dorodangos

    • rarely dropped by exterminators upon death

    • excess xp can now be converted into dorodangos

  • new enemy: titan exterminator

    • appears during endless mode every 20 waves

    • has extremely high health and damage

    • guaranteed to drop a dorodango

  • retro ball and pollution cloud now have their own sounds

  • you can now see the xp of a trashie in the variant selection screen during battle

  • mouse trap rework

    • now rewinds faster but does less damage

    • 0: mouse trap
      damage: 100 → 50
      interval: 15s → 5s

    • 01: bear trap
      damage: 300 → 150
      interval: 10s → 5s

    • 02: boardclapper

      interval: 3s → 1s
      cost: 50 → 60

  • high pressure tank rework

    • now deals 3x damage to the first enemy it hits and 2x splash damage to high enemies

  • decreased zoomba spawn rate

  • increased toy factory car attack range and decreased hitbox size

fixes

  • fixed cannonballer projectile dealing splash damage to main target

  • high pressure tank balloon no longer pops early

  • bug where game would treat toy factory cars as exterminators when saving battles

    • this lead to situations when loading battles where the game would wait before sending the next wave thinking there were still exterminators left alive

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.
