[DEVLOG]

Hey hey! Wow its been a lot longer than I thought since the last devlog. Originally I thought I would probably take a month on this project, but I guess thats gone out the window lol.

The engines performance dipped randomly again. No clue why. It seems to be an issue with the engine and moving between multiple computers. So, Ive decided to move the project to Godot 4.0. Lets hope that I dont encounter that bug again!

There are downsides to this move though.

Godot 4.0 is still in alpha. Meaning there are still lots of other bugs. Thankfully the only bug that has affected me so far is a visual glitch that occurs with spotlights.

The other downside to this move is having to remake the whole project file and rewriting code syntax that has been changed in 4.0, along with re-importing assets, ect.

Another issue I'm having at the moment: I AM HAVING TOO MANY IDEAS AHHHH!!!!! And I have no idea which ones I should include! Id like the game to be around ~30 Minutes long but at the moment Ive got no perception of the current length of the game. In the end I hope the game isn't any more than 45 minutes at most, but Ive still got so many things I want to include.

I really dont know how to proceed at this point. I think what Im gonna have to do is program in all the stages that I have done at the moment and see what the play time is then.

So I guess that will be the next time you hear from me! Ill let yall know how it goes. Till then, peace out.

Finally updated my Clickteam panorama Godot shader

Added the classic Clickteam pano "stair-stepping" effect (so accurate!) and fixed a bug that changed the zoom amount depending on the aspect ratio of the screen
