scratch makes me sad :)
If you guys want to know what the basic gliding movement would look like as a manual script, based on a single block "gliding" movement, then here you go.
Except the speed is different than seconds, so keep that in mind.

We're trialing a fully reorganised and overhauled VM for unsandboxed.org.
If you have any interest in extension/mod development, or are versed in the technical side of Scratch, I urge you to give us your feedback.
I might try and finally implement some of these soon.
...Programming errors feel like this sometimes.
Anyway mio brainstormed a really cool thing for the vm that's going to make development just a whole lot quicker. It's pretty clever.
It will also help extension developers, should they choose to make extensions with us once they're ready.
Shoutout to Mio for literally dropping by every once in a while to make a fucking banger and massive QOL change and then dip.
