Continuing from the last post, dialogs can now be triggered automatically on player contact and can even switch points of view to go along with certain dialog



Thanks to @Shori-shita for the suggestion, I made the cannon shoot a teensy bit farther. Unfortunately, I couldn't get it much farther out than that while still hitting the player

After some refinements and troubleshooting, I finally settled the dialog system straight from a blank canvas
And it works pretty flawlessly, thanks to Godot's label visibility features


Elevator is almost done. Also realized I need to make it so that each floor shares multiples of the same material, such as the wall materials, for optimization purposes as I want the game to run as fast as possible.
