420/10 game (lenny) (perfect game)

A good game, no story though... 4/5!

Till Dawn is a shooter, where you have to survive waves of creatures till the sun comes up. You play as a special forces soldier, who is in the middle of a special operation to win the War against SCs (more on that later) and he encounters a being that no life form has ever seen.

Controls:

movement: W,A,S,D keys

shoot: Left- click

Aim: mouse

So I planning on creating a story mode for the game but for now I just be focusing on arcade mode the goal being refinement of the core gameplay.

Damage from an enemy also cause a reaction from the energy field around the player

I was thinking of also using it as a shield

Progress Update:

I  released a prototype demo version of till dawn that I'll be updating every week according to the feedback I from anyone who playtested the game..

So this I've added some sound and the basic UI elements and I think the game is starting to look playable.

My main focus for this game is its gameplay I want to feel intuitive and fun, so I'll be releasing a "prototype demo" 05/01/2022 for feedback.

These past two months I Wasn't able to get much done.

I added a running animation to the player

Did some project restructuring cause it was a mess

So Next I gonna create a basic UI and some sound effects

So I finished the night element of game....added some 2dlights and I'm thinking of adding normal maps to it for graphical appeal.

Next I'm gonna focus on animation Just to get a sense of the process in godot...since its my first godot game.

I made some progress on creating a basic tileset

and Used particles for bloodsplater effect

Next I'm planning on working on the night element cause most of the gameplay is gonna take place at night.
