The mighty Dahlan Empire is falling, ravaged by a mysterious plague and internal unrest. While surviving powers and invading nations fight among themselves, adventurers and mercenaries venture inside this land full of opportunities.

Create your character and embark on an epic journey, enjoying complete freedom in a true sandbox RPG experience. Everything you do affects the world and its people. All important events are recorded. All characters will interpret what’s happening based on their morality and their faction.

The game’s narrative changes based on your choices and the people you help, making your adventure in the world of Dustgrave unique to you.

Features

  • Everything meaningful happening in the world is recorded. The characters will judge your good and evil deeds based on their personality or faction. You may be a robber, despised by common folk, but selling stolen goods could kick-start your career in the local crime groups!

  • The world is in constant evolution. Factions will fight against each other, pillaging and conquering settlements. Some may become major players in the area. Others may be destroyed forever.

  • All NPCs have unique personalities, desires, and daily routines. Use this to your advantage to get interesting quests and juicy rewards. Or wait for them to go to work, break inside their house, and steal everything.

  • Express yourself without limits, whether you join the Astralite clergy to fight against the heretics or steal apples from commoners! Many paths are available to you: criminal mastermind, righteous hero, ruthless mercenary, or wise archeologist.

  • Smash your enemies with a complex yet accessible turn-based combat system! Thanks to a unique combat system you can experiment with Skills and Items combinations. Find overpowered combos and destroy everyone stupid enough to fight you!

  • Use a stealth system to do anything you want. Steal something? Check! Assassinate someone? Check! Watch people sleep? Check! Smash a window to get inside Marco’s house and steal his secret diary, only to discover that he is a spy from an enemy settlement, triggering a quest? Quite specific, but still doable!

  • Create and customize your digital alter-ego!

We're working on a Disguise System for Dustgrave, so that players can cosplay as members of other factions, and mess with NPCs in many new, chaotic ways!

Dustgrave's will soon receive a massive update, adding variety and balance to the combat system!

It took a lot of work, but now Dustgrave's sunsets can truly instill joy and calm.

Unless you are the guy with the massive quest mark on his head, surrounded by bodies.

He's probably a little stressed right now.

We developed a complex system of Relationships and Records for Dustgrave, so that all important events can be tracked and NPCs can react to them depending on their beliefs.

In this video, we explain how it works!

We called our game Dustgrave: A Sandbox RPG because "Oh God, it's so much easier to create arid environments!" is not that good of a title.

And because it's a sandbox RPG.

And there's at least a grave, somewhere.

We made all settlements dynamic in Dustgrave, so that you can experience the "wow I can commit war crimes" part of playing a sandbox RPG.

When you want to add proper death animations but instead you get dancing enemies.

Maybe we can consider adding a breakdancing Bard class...
