Lyrics for some songs- You And Me (Susan's theme) and Rock Da World Again

It's been long enough. Time to dump some lyrics for some of the songs. It might be hard to sing along to, though.

You and Me (Susan's theme)

(vocal instrument- Flute)

For a long long time, I've been alone
on a quest to know the old world that I never knew.
But when you came down from the sky,
You were the apple of my eye,
and now I know that there is nothing I can't do...

You and Me?
We can do almost anything.
You and Me?
We can take on the world.
Can't you see?
Maybe it's meant to be
that you're right here with me.

When my father left me long ago,
there was no more turning back from who I really was.
I am a hero through and through,
even when I am here with you,
And there's no way I will leave your side, because...

You and Me?
We can do almost anything.
You and Me?
We can take on the world.
Don't you see?
Maybe it's meant to be
that you came here to me.

I don't know what had brought you here,
I hope you never disappear,
To lose you is the darkest fear
I know.

I know that I can do my best
when troubles put me to the test.
When you're beside me,
I know now where to go.

You and Me?
We can do almost anything.
You and Me?
We can take on the world.
Don't you see?
Maybe we're meant to be
when you're right here with me.

Rock Da World Again

(vocal instrument- Overdrive Guitar (doubled)
The vocals don't exactly match 1:1 with the track.)

Well, I was walkin' down the street, wasn't payin' no mind,
When I felt something at my feet, and what did I find?
It was an odd little necklace, or so it did seem,
but it was act-chul-ly a portable time machine!

When I went to the future, I was in for a shock,
Because the people there? They didn't know how to rock!
So I guess it's up to me to show them how it was done,
and in a short amount of time, they joined in on the fun!

Let's rock, rock the world again,
Rock-Rock, Rock da world again.
Let's rock, rock da world again, Rock-Rock, Rock da world again.

So I went back in time to get a few of my friends,
And I took 'em to the future where the fun never ends,
Cuz I needed their help to show to that future land
How much fun it is to rock like you're a part of a band.

With a keyboard and bass, two guitars and some drums,
and a singer from the future, from the top of their lungs,
We're gonna play every note, we gonna sing every rhyme
We're gonna rock through the future, gonna rock beyond time!

Let's rock, rock the world again,
Rock-Rock, Rock da world again.
Let's rock, rock da world again, Rock-Rock, Rock da world again.

(guitar solo for the B section)

Let's rock, rock the world again,
Rock-Rock, Rock da world again.
Let's rock, rock da world again, Rock-Rock, Rock da world again.

I realize some players just want to play the game and see the story, while others may actually want to use those revival items, so here's a little compromise for you all.

Also, yes, I NEED to put on that "Pro" flag everywhere.

Nobody's going to mind a time-limited Bonus Stage as long as it's not mandatory to beat it, right?

...and nobody will mind if the developer himself has a hard time with it, either, right?

Again, this is more Sierra-styled than Sega CD-styled, but it gets the point across.

It doesn't help that the small-sprite BAC-PAC doesn't exactly pop from this kind of background.

Besides that, I'm making progress.

This will be the last Bonus Stage I'll make for the game, because all the others are already developed.

Hopefully, there'll be more than dodging space potatoes, and I'll fix the HUD to not be the same one as the racing section.

A rather interesting thing I forgot about...

He's coming back. ...but just this once.

Okay, the bed's a bit bigger. There are other details I need to correct as well.

Sadly, the reunion between Pinafore and a conscious Timothy will have to wait.

I was considering releasing the expansion today, but then I found a lot of bugs I should've spotted in the original build, and I made the minimap do extra stuff for said expansion.

Don't worry, it'll be out by tomorrow night.

Trust me, this is part of the process of making cinematics.

If I can't do Sega CD-style, but don't want to resort solely to visual-novel style, I'll take Sierra-Adventure-Game on CD route.

As part of making this game, I have to do a lot of animation without a lot of drawing, if you can believe such a thing is possible.

For one of the opening shots, I'd like Pinafore to clean up this photo on the wall, then see her reflection.
