for more than the past year me and some friends over at Delta Revised Studios have been working on this stamp-based 3D engine(granted the project was paused for 8 months) the code is a mess and the collisions and editor have way too many bugs but its home

Optigan Engine now has interaction mechanics!
You can now:
- Pick up objects
- Activate objects
- Make checkpoints

A* Pathfinding, which is a form of pathfinding designed to be a more efficient solution, is what you are looking at right here. Or, to be more specific, node based A*. (Continued in article)


Got bored and decided I should make 3D heightmap editor in my engine.

Heightmaps done in Elite, next things are multiplayer and improved raytracing, particles.

Delta Combat - Origins is going pretty well. Have an idea for a campaign and multiplayer is going very well and there is a new map.


New: Optigan Engine 2.4 is now out! Still some bugs I need to work out, although.
