Comical Shenanigans

Rewriting the Inventory interface today, looking over the old code is causing physical pain in me. Good news is when its done, it won't hurt to use either.

Character portraits won’t be making it into the game until one of us learns how to make a face in 26x26 pixels or less. :D

Even more bugs squashed thanks to good ol @Nightonic . With movement given a much-needed overhaul (no more jittery collisions, yay!) We have our actual mine loot ready now, and we're looking to finalise the male player design and add our female option.

Sometimes with random generation you'll get some nice results. Others you end up with weeds all over the place and no easy way to get rid of them. Just another annoying bug that's been fixed.

Players starting house is all planned out. Just need to refine the sprites and get the storage boxes in.

Our save system has been receiving some proper love and care today with multiple saves now added and your play data now showing alongside it.

We're trying to drum up some more encouragement to go with the next demo so were asking anyone for features and ideas they might want to see added to the game. Leave us a comment, and we will add the very best ones :)

It's been ages since the first test build went up for you to play, after some feedback and old-fashioned hard work we are ready to introduce our next few features some time next month. A full run down below.

Our final mine snap for the time being. We have finally tied it into our save manager so your exact mine progress is saved each time. The dialogue window has also been changed. Once NPC's can be saved the next test build will be released.
