this is Zelda but better

I freaking love this game. Thank you for making it.

good job. I like style of this game.

but one problem,

ITs Just so DAMn slow!

specially when I got to the city, its so slow that I cant even move it!

I tried both Builds but they are same.

Hello! Love this game. I would like to have this game running on Steam Deck, and it does run in every aspect except for one: the music is completely gone. Sound effects are here still, oddly enough. I'd like to fix it myself, but I'm not familiar enough with Game Maker/Proton to locate the source of the issue. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Again, this is an amazing game.

This is the one I use for when I want to play on my terrible Windows XP computer. Compare and contrast with Build A, the original release.

If you ever wanted to edit the game and somehow have Game Maker 8.1, here you go. This is based on the one with the flute-cloning glitch, so beware.

Let's take the best of both the 2D and 3D worlds in the Zelda franchise, and make one (albeit cheaply made) 3D game out of them. This is that game.

What does it have? Well, it's got retro-type graphics, not-so-linear gameplay, a jump button, two items that were once regulated to the 2D world, an original story, cinematics, and two rather important girls.

In the land of Sierr, a great calamity is about to ensue. The Four Witches have been sealed away in their shrines, while their amulets are sent to the other ends of the land. ...and the Dragonian plots to take over the land as the people know it. Only one boy can save the Four Witches, get back the amulets, and face the Dragonian before it's too late.

Originally released in June 20, 2015.

Oy.

10,000 downloads in over 7 years will give you such a crick in the neck.

I still want to outdo this game, and make something that can be sold, but we'll see.

If I wanted to get paid in exposure, I'd be showing these off at a con or expo.

Hey, Vegeta, what do the analytics say about the number of downloads?

...they're over 9000. So what?

Over 8,000 downloads.

I'm glad you people like this game.

...but seriously, I've made more games than this one. Maybe not as 3D or fangamey as this one, but I've made more stuff than this.

I can't tell you what to play, though. You do you.

Sorry I missed the 7-year anniversary...

I was focused on making Rock Beyond Time. Go check it out, if you're looking for another Zelda-like game. It's out now.

Six years since I released this game...

Strangely enough, of all the games I've made .exes of, this is the one that STILL works on my current computer.

And sometimes, I realize I made some poor decisions in game design with this one.

5000 downloads.
Sure, why not? My computer won't run it or my other older games because Windows keeps changing things, but okay.

I'm currently working on another platform game, and trying to tell a different kind of story.

4,000 downloads? Already?

You go off making a big Metroidvania, and all everyone wants to play is the Zelda game from three to four years ago. Thanks, anyway.

Happy Zelda Month
