Hey, I know the Kickstarter didn't reach its mark, and that's hard, but you were so close. You might think to yourself oh if the demo was just a little better or if I tried a little harder I would have succeeded, but the truth was it wasn't your time just yet. You can try again. We believe in you. Don't give up

The game has a really beautiful aesthetic! The overall vibe is reminiscent of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, it’s cute and very charming. The sound design is lovely, and the music is just as pleasant.

There’s also a strong Undertale influence (especially in the battles), but the game has its own unique atmosphere and a very appealing universe. I really like the whole idea with the wishes. You can feel how much care has gone into it, it radiates passion and that sense of genuine adventure.

It’s truly impressive.
I was blown away to see that a game like this was made essentially by one person. Hats off to you.

Now it’s just a matter of luck, but I think a game like this really deserves to be known.

The Twelve Slot Saloon is a Turn-Based RPG with Bullet Hell elements! In this game, your choices matter, as the littlest decisions can sometimes have drastic effects on the world.
Can you manage to find a Happy Ending in "The Land Without Happy Endings"?

While you're exploring the world of The Twelve Slot Saloon, you'll encounter enemies that will launch you into brilliantly crafted Turn-Based Battles, called "Silhouette Showdowns".
In these battles, enemies will attack you with a variety of Bullet Hell inspired patterns that will keep you on your feet. From jumping over attacks, to trying to platform mid battle, there's always something to watch out for!

During your turn, you'll get a variety of options to choose from. If you want to resolve battles without having to fight, you can use ACTIONS in order to find a peaceful solution.
Each enemy has their own set of ACTIONS you can choose from, each ACTIONS having a unique Mini-Game to accompany it.
By successfully completing ACTIONS, you can fill up the enemy's Pacify Meter. Once the Pacify Meter is filled, you are given the option to end the battle without violence!

Opposite to ACTIONS, you are also given the option to ATTACK, for a more traditional RPG style of gameplay.
During your turn to ATTACK, you'll be thrown into a Shooter Inspired Mini-Game. The goal in this Mini-Game is to deal damage to the enemy by shooting a target called a CORE.
Once you deal enough damaged to the enemy, you'll be given two options. You can either Spare them, or Finish them off. Your choice here could greatly impact the story, so choose wisely.

Outside of Silhouette Showdowns, you can explore a beautiful desert Wonderland, filled with Charming, Quirky characters!
On the path to your destination, you'll encounter obstacle courses that may prove to be quite a challenge, as you put your platforming and dodging skills to the test! You may also encounter puzzles that might reward you if solved.

There once was a Reaper of Death, who one day, was charged to harvest a soul who was unlike any other they've ever encountered. This soul was kind, and selfless, and only wanted to bring joy to others. This soul never had any of their own dreams come true, but insisted on bringing to life the dreams of others... Until their own dying breath.

This one selfless soul inspired the Reaper, who wanted to carry on this legacy. So the Reaper created a world where dreams can come true, where anyone who receives an invitation, can make a wish, and live in this world filled with undying dreams. However, every wish does cost a price, that price being your soul. Despite that, a great many jump at the invitation, all in hopes to find a Happy Ending.

One day, someone new wakes up in the world; A cat who has no previous memory of anything at all, not even their own wish.
The cat then encounters someone distantly familiar, and they realize this world where "dreams come true", might be falling apart at the seams.

Been working on alot of puzzles and systems for my game #TwelveSlotSaloon

Mainly just making sure that the systems work, and multiplayer doesn't absolutely destroy it-

If you hold down your attack button, and time it properly, you'll be able to deal twice as much damage, though it is a bit more difficult to time it properly while aiming, so it's up to you!~

Working on more enemies and attacks-

I'm trying to get the visuals of #TwelveSlotSaloon battles good enough to be happy with.

The most tedious thing to work on in #TwelveSlotSaloon is 100% having to make sprites for every single character.

So to speed up development, Puppy will now be the only character featured in the game.
