Hey, is everything going well?
Sorry if that's random to see, but I'm just curious considering its been a while since the last devlog.
this looks very, very high quality and progress seems to be going quickly and consistently, I don't imagine this will stay under the radar for too much longer.
all I have to say is that I am excited.
(Yevon pin this if you can)
I'll be answering some common questions that has been going on just to make it clear!
Will this game be free?
a demo will be.full version won't be
When will this realease?
Yevon is honestly Very quick as he Isn't rushing himself but it's the fact he's just quick.he is still working His best for this and I can say that it will soon! (depends on Yevon choices)
Android port?
As I really can't answer this one due to the fact it's Yevon decisions to do it or not.but keep an eye for it!
Looking pretty good
You wake in in a soulless world, and choose your own path to obtaining a soul through the decisions you make along the way.
Will you fight, make peace? Or something far more sinister.
It’s all up to you in this quirky turn based RPG/Shooter/Bullet Hell experience, inspired by many beloved RPGs
The basic gameplay of THE TWELVE SLOT SALOON, at heart is a Turn Based RPG, with many more elements thrown in to make the gameplay more interesting and most importantly, um, not boring?
You progress through the Land Without Happy Endings solving puzzles which have an interesting twist to them. (Yet to be revealed.)
Along the way, you may encounter enemies along your path that will drag you into Silhouette Showdowns which are the second half of the gameplay experience.
In these turn based battles, you'll have many options that are standard in RPGs, but the battles will only end after you fight an enemy until they faint, or find a different way out by using ACTIONS.
Silhouette Showdowns are on of the main determining factors that will decided how the story will end.
--WILL ADD FOOTAGE, CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF ADDING MORE ENEMIES--
While THE TWELVE SLOT SALOON takes inspiration from many forms of media, it's easy to break down the four main inspirations it takes after.
Undertale: For Gameplay and Story progression.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: For art and story.
Earthbound: General vibe and nature
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask: Side quest and world set up.
This game is pretty much being made by one guy, that being me of course @JamesYevon with the only expectation being the music being made by my brother @Justice2Free
My main goal is to make this game has fun as possible, since it's been a long time since I played an RPG that wasn't boring?
Anyway, that's all for now, and despite what it may look like it's not a furry game, and have some human characters in it I swear.
Thanks for reading and have a good day!
