The game does not launch when I run the exe. How can I fix this?

Spent the day eliminating color artifacts and this wretched shadow from the png to dds conversion. This is now complete. The new image slicing tool will be the next major optimization milestone.

Successfully converted pngs to dds in-game with mixed results.
The lo-res one is better resource-wise, but has weird color artifacts on the wheels from the conversion.
The high-res one is just too heavy.

Here's the building icons, mediocre. While nostalgic, there's a reason custom icons for all entities went away. I'll tweak in future, bu I'll go with clean renders if they're no good.
