What do you think?

Se ve de locos.

No Fancy Graphics, no Epic Shading. No, only basic shapes.

And that's great, way more unique. Oh and the fact that it's made on a custom engine.

Mucha suerte y ojalá termines el juego

(Debí comentar hace mucho tiempo lul)

Se ve bastante prometedor, espero en un futuro poder jugarlo che :D

Keep grinding, bring this project to life !

Played the demo! the game looks great!

I overall enjoyed it. I like the atmosphere and the puzzles, but the jump feels weird. I know it's mostly a puzzle game, but there are platforming sections so making the jump feel less floaty would be nice..

I also appreciate the Zoom out button!

Dev Flashback - Jan '22

Another flashback! In January 2022, I had majority of puzzles already done. Despite that, big amount of work was still before me (80/20 rule). In animation you can see one of later levels in the game.

End of 2021 was very productive in RTG development. After "charged light shooters", I implemented "gravity inverters", great mechanics with lot of potential for new puzzles. Here's small showcase.

Another level with "charged light shooters". I can say, that's around this level when game's difficulty spikes up. After 20-30 levels of quite light puzzles, the game will start challenging even skilled puzzle players.

Charged light shooters! Mechanics, which added "pool" or "billiards" gameplay. Lot of fun with that. Moreover, this effect of environment illumination is for free thanks to game's engine, so why not use it?

RTG Flashback - April 2021 #3

One year after the start of works on RTG, finally I was creating levels one by one. This is another level involving "carriable boxes". Here, I used some mirrors to show off my engine a bit more.

Level from my sci-fi puzzle/platformer, involving use of "carriable boxes", a puzzle mechanics which is used extensively in the game, along with more game mechanics which will be presented later.

Test level for testing my collision system. Game mechanics where player needs to manipulate with boxes in order to solve puzzles is essential in RTG, thus simple collision system was needed. Here it is.

Switches, lot of switches. And every switch with own light emitter to demonstrate ray-tracing algorithm. I'm wondering what levels can others create if I provide level editor some day?

One of the first levels with elevators. Here, you can see, that thx to my ray-tracing algorithm, every tiny light in the game is actual emitter which illuminates its environment and cast shadows.
