Sonic Islands is an open zone fan-game inspired by the Sonic Frontiers game.
STORY - Sonic and his friends need to help the Guardian of the Aurora Islands defeat a greater evil being that has been taking over the now destroyed civilization of Aurora for years.
EXPLORATION AND REWARD - The Aurora Islands are the main location you will explore in the game, collecting Copal Crystals, completing challenges, finding secrets and defeating enemies to help the Guardian save the Aurora Islands.
EXP AND UPGRADES - During your journey you will be able to improve various Sonic stats using EXP, which can be acquired by performing EXP Tricks and defeating enemies. You can exchange your EXP Points for upgrades at the Statue of Vitality, which is hidden somewhere on the islands.
DREAM SIMULATIONS - During your exploration, at the top of the highest Watchtower in the island, you will find a machine called "Dream Simulator", using the Copal Crystals you collected, you can open the Dream Simulator's portal and run through the dream of Aurora's citizens, at the end, get your best rank and receive a Chaos Emerald.
THEY'RE ALL WITH YOU - All your companions will help you on your journey, your friends, some new friends and even some spiritual beings that inhabit the islands.
SAVE THE AURORA ISLANDS - Join Sonic, Guardian and his friends to defeat a greater evil and save the Aurora Islands, once and for all.
