the game is good but it has a bug that prevents a player from climbing the elevator
theres a bug i pressed a and it didnt load the level the thing is when you press a on the keyboard it moves you to the right so i would move all the movement to the arrow keys to fix it or you try another way

I press A on the level and It doesn't load, I also tried all the keys on the keyboard. What can help?

Download the app
You will most likely get an error saying that it's from an "unidentified developer" and that you cannot open it. Click Cancel.
Then go into System Preferences > Security & Privacy​ ​> General​. There will be a section at the bottom saying "Stay Afloat" was blocked from opening... - ​​next to that click the ​Open Anyway​ button.
A window will then pop up asking once more if you want to open the app - click ​Open​.
The game can be played with a keyboard and an Xbox controller. To use an Xbox controller on a Mac, check out this article​ for instructions on how to install and configure the driver.
About
This is our first IP based on an idea we conceived at the Global Game Jam 2020. See here for the game jam game, which serves as our prototype.
In this local-coop game, the pirates must keep their sinking ship afloat for a duration of time, while leaks keep appearing at the base.
The players must coordinate with each other to stay afloat by doing the following:
Using the bucket to empty the ship of the water that's filling in through the leaks.
Using the hammer to build planks at the work table and using those planks to plug in the leaks.
The less water that's inside the ship, the quicker you will be able to beat the level!
Win conditions:
When the ship on the meter at the top reaches the treasure chest
Lose conditions:
If the ship is fully submerged in water

It has been almost a year since we worked on Stay Afloat! It grew a lot from its initial conception as a game jam entry.
By the end of the month we will announce a major update which includes changes in the gameplay and the overall look!
