A simple and fun little game. And it has some great music and some pretty good visuals. Well done.
Cool game!
Dive deep into depths of the ocean while collecting pearls. Shoot aquatic monsters to survive. How deep can you go?
Controls:
Numpad = Move/swim around
X = Shoot; Press and hold X to shoot continuously and lock shooting direction; Press X while moving to a direction to shoot in that direction;
Enter = Confirm/Pause
F8 = Screenshot
This is my entry to Ludum Dare 48 whose theme : Deeper and Deeper
New shots from Xelam showing darkness effect in different depths.
In case it's not clear in previous shots, I posted shots of new aquatic monsters. Each has its own movement AI.
I also have added another wall layer to add depth to background.
The jam is over but I have some updates for this game including feedbacks from friends. One feature that didn't make it to jam version was darkness. These shots show darkness from different depths.
