What's an Insectile? 🐛

Insectile is a clever, turn-based RPG about puzzlingly shaped bugs! ...And now it has a Devlog!

If you enjoyed the charm of Belle Boomerang, I know you are going to love Insectile, So, give it a follow! https://gamejolt.com/games/insectile/894155

Over half of all INSECTILE wish lists were added in the last month. I could not be more grateful!

If you're an indie dev or any kind of creative - do not be discouraged!

For this #ScreenshotSaturday, I have a little Before and After! This is Act 1 of Belle Boomerang 5 years ago and today! Look at how much the game's grown!

(Psst! There are new Belle Boomerang stickers in my Creator Sticker Pack! Enjoy!)

I am SO excited for some of these new maps I'm making - It finally feels like I'm taking full advantage of that z axis!

I can't wait to see how this changes bug catching 🐝

I was worried the "blockers" in INSECTILE would annoy players - but many cited them as the best parts of the demo!

So, I'm working on new blocker types today : ) Bees leave honey splotches and water skimmers have armor that pops like bubble wrap!

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

Fun Fact: In a few mantis species, the female will sometimes eat the head of her partner when mating.

Lesser Known Fact: This gives the male mantis a more optimal attack formation.
