Blooming Darkness [DEMO]

Blooming Darkness demo is now scheduled for release next week! Things never go well whenever I make plans for this stuff, but I'm fairly confident this time!

I left a quick update on my profile, and no one saw it, but it turned to be completely wrong anyway so it's fine...

I had everything in place to post the demo last week, but then I encountered the dumbest issue that I've experienced in all my years of programming!

This is the Bestiary on a fresh save, and in it are 2 unimplemented enemies & the list itself... NONE OF THAT SHOULD BEEN POSSIBLE!

This broke the save system as well as 1 random cutscene. However, it worked perfectly fine in the Unity Editor, where I have debug tools! But that's not all, it also only happened on certain machines!

I still don't know why it happened or why my fix even worked, so I really hope nobody runs into this glitch.

I updated the banner for my game! It's based off one of the first original pixel art pieces I ever drew (2nd picture).

Art isn't an area I'm strong in, so I'm pretty happy with this! Well, for now at least.

Yo, I'm back! I've been busy with life but that hasn't completely stopped me from working on Blooming Darkness.

For example: I replaced the 1st boss due to a story change and now it's being playtested

Mae Borowski is the main character of Night in the Woods! It's an adventure game that tells the story of her return to her hometown of Possum Springs. She was confirmed as canonically pan in a social media post by the game's creator Scott Benson.

I made a game in 12 hours! Am I a real game developer now?

I'll continue to improve it, and hopefully release it here soon. Maybe I'll make it into a full mobile game in the future.
