If there's any big advice I must give to beginner - intermediate artists, it'd be that they just gotta trust the process more. It hurts when I see a lot of learning artists, young artists especially, say that their art is "getting worse" and are always doubting their skills. Or there'd be ones that say their art looks terrible and they're regressing in quality, but the art is genuinely so awesome...
and it's like nooo stoppp it's normal for you to fluctuate in skill somedays especially with drawing things outside your comfort bubbleee!! you're doing great keep goinggg!

It's not the end of the world if one of your recent pieces look lower quality than the one you did a few weeks ago. Your skills aren't regressing. You're just evolving, probably experimenting with a new style or still trying to craft your own artstyle or a style you're comfortable with. Maybe you were rushing, having an off day, or lost motivation during the drawing and just wanted to Get It Done.
No piece is perfect the first time around and that's okay. Art is an iterative process and you have to trust that process if you really want to improve your skills. If you don't trust yourself, your art won't trust you either. It will be visible.
