We got a loading screen!

Whilst a scene is loading, Skelly will pop up providing an extremely helpful & life-changing tip to help you complete the game 🙂.


I just wanted to share the completed loading screen.

For those of you that are unaware, ARGHH, there’s a killer chasing me! is a silly comedy survival horror game where you try to escape the woods alive whilst an amateur slasher is chasing you.

Due to the game’s genre, I wanted to have some fun with the loading screen. It’s a basic loading screen but the displayed tips are much more humorous than your typical video game loading screen.

It suits the vibe of the game, having some funny and extremely unhelpful tips lol. But they’re not all bad, some tips shown are actually helpful and encourage you to explore the environment to obtain useful items.

The loading screen changes its displayed tip every few seconds. There’s quite a few tips so I doubt you’ll see the same one over and over again.

The Killer will occasionally investigate hiding spots while searching for you.

A look at the struggle decision mini-game which occurs when Adam's caught tripping or in a hiding spot.

You have 5 seconds to choose. Two are good options; two are bad, and will result in Adam losing health if picked.
