Status update:

The Prologue just had a major update and is entering the final stage of playtesting. So far I haven’t hit any major roadblocks, but anything could happen.

In other news, I started playing Earthbound today, and it is AMAZING.

Presenting as promised... one sprite! This is the first time I ever felt like I got the top-down angle right, so I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself. Now I get to do the fun part!
