'Hello, Neighbor! Descent Into Madness' follows the first known story of 'Hello, Neighbor'. Our protagonist crashes into a utility pole which sends him into a coma. He is taken to our antagonist's, Mr. Peterson, residence where we learn he's hiding something in his basement. Whether of dark deeds or our protagonist is simply just misunderstanding, we don't know.

Logo and description isn't final, may change in the future.

Should flashlights have a battery count?

I stopped using TSR after realizing how bad the framerate actually was. It also made the game look.. smeary? Basically, it would look like a dry erase board after smudging the marker. So I use FXAA because it looks the best and preforms the best.

A little bit of a lag fest never hurt anybody. (I hope)

PS: Not just a meme post, this is a WIP animation based on the HN2 animations

Working on modular walls for random gen houses! PS: Extracted from HN3, edited to fit HN1

Actual blueprint hell. This is all for footsteps and I am simplifying it based on the original code so I don't have to use multiple functions for this. Of course, it doesn't look "Simplified" though. I am also using Metasounds now instead of Sound Cues.

Currently, I am having a lot of problems with the custom skeletons. I will be switching back to the originals but keeping the root motion animations.

PS: No custom AI Scanner, I am using the AI Perception component.

I am currently struggling on whether I should make the game feel more like HN2, which has better controls than the first game, or the early alphas of the first game.

Despite the poll, I think I have to use the Alpha 1 style player or at the very least, a mix between both Alpha 1 and Alpha 2 (Visible player, floating items.) Alpha 2 animations are too hard to get working right now and it obscures your vision too much.
