First janky bug build of the game, might get replaced with an update at some point
So here we are with "Chapter Zero" of the Eternal Frenemies webcomic!

OVERVIEW:
This game is basically a way to respect the "game pages are for games" rule while giving the comic its own "home" here on GameJolt, my current most successful social media handle. It can be played anywhere with a browser.

SYNOPSIS:
One night after a long day, Seraphia and Cocytus try to get some well-earned rest, but the powers that be have other plans....

GAMEPLAY:
This game is technically a hybrid visual novel, but its story between levels is linear (almost in a kinetic way). It contains the following elements:
Four playable characters - to be added to the party single file throughout the story
Character biography library - displays stats, skill description and synopsis of character.
Four levels - each with their own difficulty, length and dialogue.
Seven-tier achievement system
Playthrough logs - contains progress and scores

POTENTIAL UPDATES:
This is the original janky-bug-build of the game so it goes without saying that the floor is open to criticism as you see fit. Changes may not be implemented for a while only because the queue of projects is backed up at the moment.

This game page also doubles as a newsletter for the Eternal Frenemies comic. There will be retroactive devlogs for the game and maybe an updated release down the line, but most posts will be geared towards alerting and promoting the release of new chapters.
The ten-percent rule is not lost on me, so if nothing else, I hope you enjoy the game!
