Welcome to Hello Neighbor: Hidden Spirits, a fan game of the once popular indie horror franchise "Hello Neighbor". The release of the original game left the general public disappointed, so I took it upon myself to create my own take on the concept!

Theodore Peterson in this game isn't your typical Hello Neighbor AI. You have to treat him like a real human. If you treat him like a minor inconvenience, you'll never find out what lies behind that basement door.

Fixed the performance issues when you swap quality settings. Turns out when we switched to Unreal 5.4, all the shaders reset and I forgot to recompile them all, which was causing all that lag.
Update will be rolling out within an hour.

Now that chapter 1 is fully finished, we'll be taking a break for a while. At least until 2025. But once 2025 hits, it's full steam ahead to getting chapter 2 done!

From the final update for chapter 1 (the demo) onwards, you will have a built-in flashlight at all times that you can turn on with the F key. However, it has a limited charge. Use batteries strewn around the map to recharge the flashlight.
