NOTE: THE PREVIOUS ITERATION OF THIS GAME (AS SEEN IN THE BANNER AND OFFICIAL SCREENSHOTS) IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

The previous iteration has been removed in order to avoid confusion for anyone looking for the stuff I have been posting more recently.

Welcome to Your New Home

It started as just an ordinary day, but by nightfall, you found yourself taken captive, on your way to a new land, a new home, with new people. You don't know the rules, and you don't speak the language. If you try to run, they'll hunt you down. All you can do at this point...is try.

But That Would Be Too Easy, Wouldn't It?

Life isn't easy in this new village, but an attack by an unusual foe suddenly pushes ordinary cares by the wayside. Who were they? Why did they attack? What are these artifacts that they have left behind?

Well look at you getting all fancy and improving yourself

Yeah, battling is functionally complete*

Now we can see how close we are to defeating an enemy. Debating if I want to make this automatic, or if I want to do some kind of discovery thing like Goombella's Tattle or SPM's Catch Cards. Not really feeling inclined either way

Turkey and stuffing are brain food Lots of progress tonight. Animations are lacking, but battles are being fought

What's that? You thought a square with fixed dimensions and easy 90-degree angles and calculations would be easier than a pentagon with its half-magical, non-specific graphing points? Silly child, you are WRONG

No, it isn't going to cost 7 SP to use a Poison Tomahawk. Purely for demonstration purposes. Moves that require more SP than you have are now disabled

More combat work today. Made a few animations to cover the basic attacks, including bonus power (think: Stylish moves) And general clean-up to make room for expansion into the more complicated moves Also separated the follower attack state

Holy progress, Batman, we have combat. Well, not fully. The enemies can't fight back yet

Dear Mr. Revett,
After almost fifteen years since taking your class, I am proud to announce that today I finally used those equations for finding the graphing points of a perfect pentagon. Few more years, maybe I'll need to find the area of a rhombus too.

Decided to do some work on the battle system, since that is a teeny bit more important than Patches

Started work on Patches last night, about ten minutes in began to feel really sick so I just turned in. Feeling better today physically, but just A Little Bit Off, so I'm calling an early night. ...
