NOTE: THE PREVIOUS ITERATION OF THIS GAME (AS SEEN IN THE BANNER AND OFFICIAL SCREENSHOTS) IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.

The previous iteration has been removed in order to avoid confusion for anyone looking for the stuff I have been posting more recently.

Welcome to Your New Home

It started as just an ordinary day, but by nightfall, you found yourself taken captive, on your way to a new land, a new home, with new people. You don't know the rules, and you don't speak the language. If you try to run, they'll hunt you down. All you can do at this point...is try.

But That Would Be Too Easy, Wouldn't It?

Life isn't easy in this new village, but an attack by an unusual foe suddenly pushes ordinary cares by the wayside. Who were they? Why did they attack? What are these artifacts that they have left behind?

Okay, I'm done for the night. I'm too mad Decided to do some work on the followers so they turn and move a little better and managed to break them entirely. Screw it. I'm going to go play a game that works

Made a simple injury animation so we can actually see that damage is being done (screenshot is part of the death animation) Also added more props and prop shenanigans. There is a chance they could fall over at some point, and it might hurt

Back after a lovely Christmas and doing a little cleanup. Got everything tightened up so there is less dead space. Did some art on a now one-armed audience. And fixed a bug with the target selection arrow Today's progress brought to you by Audiomachine

More shiny work done Changing the stage theme based on location and adding in some stage props. Then we can have interesting stuff happen like trees falling over or random forks raining from the sky

Big progress day today This after spending half an hour trying to figure out why a function was executing despite not apparently being called (I was looking in the wrong animation )

Fully intended to get a lot done, maybe enough to bring battling back up. Instead, ended up spending four hours trying to figure out what in the fridge a drunk uncle was thinking when he wired my in-laws' house fifty years ago

No snazzy screenshots or anything today. Just getting some of the back-end built up. Broke the battling in the process, but it's not as big of an issue as it sounds I just can't battle until this back-end enemy bit is complete

Phew. Cleared the town of hippies

Now I'm at a rare point where the front-end code/gameplay has overtaken the back-end code/planning

HALP! THE TOWN IS BEING OVERRUN BY BOOMER HIPPIES! With their crazy pattern shirts and bell-bottom pants and shrooms

Slowly chipping away at the inciting incident. We now have raiders to raid the town, although it does look more like a hippie invasion

I HATE ART DAYS

If there is any good news, it's that whatever I make for the player character, I can use on any other humanoid, and vice versa

Today's progress brought to you by Apocalypse Orchestra

Edit: Added screenshot of patterned shirt
