Hypertrig is a run-and-gun platformer that calls back to games of the early 90s. You take up the role of an amnesiac test subject, trapped in a sprawling lab complex with seemingly no exit. If that wasn't bad enough, you'll find an army of bloodthirsty killer robots with the sole goal of eliminating you.

Armed with unexplained superpowers and the titular Hypertrig - a mysterious gun with unlimited ammo - fight through several levels of wall-smashing, robot-bashing chaos and adrenaline!

Just remember not to poke your nose where it doesn't belong, hun...you don't even know half of what you're up against...

Inspired by games like #MegaMan, #GunstarHeroes, #Ultrakill and #CaveStory, Hypertrig aims to recreate the rush of arcade run & gun platformers from the 16-bit era, all while bringing an entirely new spin on the genre! From enemy throwing, to deadly weapon combos, and all wrapped up with a cast of hateloveable characters, Hypertrig strives to be as action-packed and adrenaline-inducing as possible, all while focusing on an in-depth world & story, shrouded in mystery...

Throughout the past few weeks of developing Hypertrig, my Gunstar Heroes/NES Mega Man inspired game, I've been working on "enemy ambushes". Here's a rough preview of that!

I'm really surprised at all the attention my last Hypertrig post got. So I thought, why not post another?

I've been busy rewriting a few things lately, and with that comes a new mechanic - the ability to slam and meteor slam enemies!
