The protagonist needs to go to the hospital to see her grandmother's condition, so she leaves the house in the care of a friend. After returning from her grandmother's wake, she returns home to rest. But the next day, she realizes that all the doors and windows are closed and she can't get out. She is surprised by prototype attacks every night and tries to survive for a few weeks. In the end, she discovers that there was a thief in her house trying to steal her inheritance.
The game's proposal is to be a fan game that is different from the ordinary. Instead of just having one or two endings that the player finishes and the fun of the game is over, this game can have MUCH more endings than a conventional fan game. In the game, the player can do EVERYTHING HE WANTS, as if he were in that situation, which is why there can be many endings.
And something that the player can earn are the achievements that come with each ending discovered or other things.
The game is being developed by working extensively on every detail so that the player has the best impression and the best experience possible.
And the game will also be accessible to everyone, as it is free, and will have a version for mobile and PC.
The game will try to have a bit of humor, even if the situation gets very serious. Of course, it's not meant to be a humorous game, but it still serves to give a good impression.
The situation in the game is intended to be so real that the player will feel how the protagonist feels in the situation.
This game will not only have nights, but it will have mornings and afternoons too, just like in the story and in reality.
It has codes so that the player can recover their progress if it is lost.
The game has 3 gameplays that can be saved and named as the player wishes.
Ultimately, The Purple Window will always try to offer the best by seeing the player's vision and doing everything to please him. Always trying to stand out from other fan games and try something authentic.
The inspiration came from a house that every night turned on a purple light in one of its windows. I thought it was really cool, and at the time I wanted to make a real game, without using Scratch (no prejudice against those who use it, I'm just saying that I wanted to be more hardcore). I started writing a story that I was already inventing to be a FNaF fan game. In the end, I ended up being much more surprised by my performance than I expected.
The idea of having multiple endings is even comical. I watched a Barbie movie where she was a developer and her sister complained that she could only go the way the game wanted. I thought: "Wow, that's true". Most of the time the game has a path that we must follow and we cannot do any other, so, thinking about that, I created this scheme. In addition to also thinking about giving more realism to the game. Giving situations that could happen in any fan game, but don't happen because the fan game tries to be horrifying.
I decided to work on the details because this way the player has a more realistic experience. The same happens when I want the player to feel like the protagonist, for realism, for a better experience.
I decided to make mornings and afternoons because that's how it is in the story and also because I thought it would be something different and cooler for the player. Since he would have more time playing instead of finishing and abandon the game.
Humor is part of my personality, and I also don't want to make a fan game that's too serious.
The 3 gameplays was an idea I thought of when I saw that I could only save 1 progress in the game and if I wanted another one I would have to delete that one.
I think there should be a mobile version for any PC game because it's not cool to see someone else playing and not be able to play.
I reused the idea of the Scratch codes, since I didn't know how to save the progress and I put the code to advance in the game.
