DISCLAIMER: THIS IS AN OLD, OUT-OF-DATE BUILD. This build was made for private testing back in August of 2023. It is running on code and design that is no longer present in the game, and does not reflect the eventual full release. There will be bugs. The Office Scrolling does not work unless you set a framerate in the game's options menu. Simply open the gear in the top right of the screen and set your desired framerate to fix this. There is no in-game way to close the game currently. Just press Alt + F4. Sorry 'bout that.

"Where it all started."

Hello and welcome to your new summer job at Fredbear & Friends, home of fantasy and fun! Well er, actually, it'll only be Fredbear's for the next week. We're currently working on a mass rebranding, and we need you to watch over the restaurant over the next week while we prepare the new animatronics. We can't shut them down at night, so we just need you to watch them and make sure they don't break anything. And of course, remember to smile. After all, by next week, you'll be the face of the brand new Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.

Yeah, I know. Another Fredbear's game. Just, hear me out.

This game is intended to be a celebratory project of the first four games in the Five Nights at Freddy's series, as they are to this day my favorites, as well as a way for me to test my programming skills and experiment. As such, it borrows a lot of concepts from said games, altering some, and just recreating others. As for its placement in the FNaF timeline, I'm not guaranteeing it fits in with the series' timeline as a whole, but I also don't (currently) have any reason to believe that it doesn't. That said, it was written around 1-4, so keep that in mind if you notice any glaring inconsistencies with games after 4.

Small disclaimer, some models and textures from Help Wanted and FNaF AR are also being used, though every model has been heavily edited/cleaned up. Only textures I'm using are an eye texture, which has also been edited.

Tldr; Probably not very unique. There are like a billion Fredbear's games already, so I'm instead striving for a tightly knit, competently designed and above all else: FUN game, that fits into the world I fell in love with all those years ago. Whether I succeed at that depends on the person I suppose.

I am working on this project completely alone. The only collaborators are helping with testing when the time comes and the occasional kids drawing.

Lastly, I want to leave a message for Scott Cawthon. From the bottom of my heart, thank you Scott. You've made a lot of dumb decisions, and very poor choices, but your silly little games have given me a real career and several lifelong friendships.

...

And no, there will not be a mobile port.

At 300 followers, I'll give a very early sneak peek at an extra feature in this game (which will probably take longer to make than the main game did, tbh).

Well, I WAS going to do something special for the if/when the game hit 100 followers, but the game's already at 98, and I'm leaving state tomorrow.

So uh, maybe when I get back. lol

One more thing. While I don't anticipate this game to take very long, I would still like to say:

1. I'm working completely alone on it.

2. I have a real life job.

I estimate it taking a few more months tops, but it could be longer. Things happen.

Now that I've made this page public, I'm gonna give a little progress breakdown. I'm new to this new-fangled gamejolt, so I've attached a more in-depth article to this (I think?). Feel free to call me a boomer if it doesn't work.
