Just gave this a play! The level is a little bit too long, but the mechanics are very nice and simple - while providing a challenge via a simple concept! You did great work!
Mega Roll
The Mission:
Race through uncharted, dangerous lands to reach the only exit before it’s too late. It’s a high-stakes fantasy sprint where every step counts and the wilderness is out to get you!
Tactical Gameplay:
Forget simple "roll and move." You roll 2 dice every turn, forcing you to think strategically. Use them to double your speed, trigger a hero’s power, or dodge a trap.
Key Features:
Unique Heroes:Â Play as characters with game-changing abilities.
Items & Challenges:Â Find powerful loot or face sudden world events that flip the rules on their head.
Perfect Balance: No one is ever truly out! Our "Comeback Mechanic" ensures that even if you’re trailing behind, a brilliant move or a stroke of luck can put you back in the lead for a last-second victory.
Goal:Â Be the first to escape. Remember:Â Fate favors the fast!
Prototype: Game Rules & Mechanics
Heroes
Choose one of the three unique characters, each tied to a core attribute and a special ability:
Bruiser (Attribute: Strength)
Ability: Crowd Control. If the Bruiser lands on a tile occupied by another player, that player skips their next turn.
Streetboy (Attribute: Agility)
Ability: Scavenger’s Luck. Gains 2 coins every time he fails a challenge or a skill check.
Witch (Attribute: Intelligence)
Ability: Arcane Gift. If the initial dice roll total is 10 or higher, she immediately receives a random item.
Game Changers
Landing on specific tiles activates a "Game Changer" — a global rule modification that shifts the flow of the match. Current prototype versions include:
PURSUIT: The player in the last position becomes immune to any backward movement effects and skipped turns.
COSTLY CHANCE: The cost to reroll any die is now set to 2 coins.
LEADER TAX: If any player rolls a double (two of the same number), the player currently in first place loses 50% of their coins.
Items
Under Development. A variety of usable items are currently being balanced and will be added in future updates.
