So here we are...a day and a half behind schedule. Not the worst but still okay. Real talk, as much as I wanted to take more time to try and figure out ALL the bugs, I just couldn't take it anymore, I HAD to get this game to work ASAP. I really want yall to be able to play this, so here is a not-perfect-yet but playable version.
I have had near insomnia over the past two days, but I have figured out a way to get the game to load and play through the entire story without crashing: I had to delete a few images and then slowly reassemble the game build from scratch, systematically ruling out problems. Said problems included code in the game's interface files that the browser refuses to recognize because of how it loads Ren'Py web builds and corrupted files left behind in both the launcher and browser from previous failed test runs. Once those files and that code were gone, the game successfully loaded.
I have also rebuilt and tested the game in both Chrome and FireFox every time I spotted an error or mismatch. The game is nowhere near perfect, but right now it is the best of my ability. Make of that what you will.

On that note, lemme go through a few of the bugs you might run into that I cannot fix at the moment (so you won't be surprised):
the dialogue box and novel-mode window might disappear if you skip too often or open and closes menus too quickly in succession (or a random time). You may have to refresh the page.
You may get a black screen for a second when an achievement is reached. It goes away when you click anywhere on it, but that's still an annoying little problem.
As mentioned above, if you press the "reset all progress button" and agree, you may get an error message when you try to open the "achievements" or "start" menu. Refresh the page and the game should work normally.
The GameJolt API should work as it ran successfully in testing. I will be looking further into it should I encounter any problems.
If nothing else, you should AT LEAST be able to read the entire story without crashing in Chrome or FireFox browser. Mobile browsers should be similar in execution.

I also stand by what I said in the last post - any and all bug fixes will be incorporated into the re-release down the line. I honestly may not be able to get every bug in a web build, but I'll do my best. We'll have to deal with the janky version for the time being, but the ability to read the story should allow for a majority to surface for a language other than English to which the game can be translated.
I hope the game performs well enough for you to enjoy!
