Why create an account?
With an account you can follow and engage with your favorite creators, friends and realms on Game Jolt. You can share content, grow a following and even sell your games! Why NOT create an account?
Whether you choose to sign up using a pre-existing Google account or start from scratch, making an account on Game Jolt is a straightforward process, but there are a couple things you may want to consider ahead of time.
Email notification settings are completely customizable, and Game Jolt will never spam your inbox, so we suggest signing up with an email address that matters to you. If Game Jolt should ever need to contact you regarding your account, or you need help recovering your Game Jolt account, the email account that is associated with your Game Jolt account would be key in such scenarios.
While not the same as display names, usernames will always be publicly visible. You can change your username later on, so don’t worry if you’re not happy with your first choice. They can be any combination of letters, numbers, hyphens (-), and underscores (_).
