I've spent most of my time playing and working on Krago's Kuest, my latest game. It's a short metroidvania about a crab wanting to get a rare fruit.

It's completed and can be found here:

When it comes to my least favorite part of game dev is testing alone. While solo testing have its benefits, but it can be a painful. Overlooking hidden bugs after solving others does creep up when you least expected when launching your game.

My favorite part of game dev is the coding. While art is my strongest asset, however coding in unity has been an interesting journey for me. Learning new occupation about coding to create action or setting the rules has been beneficial.

My favorite part of game dev is boss design. Fighting enemies is fun but fighting bosses is even more fun.
Turns out designing bosses is fun also. There are many patterns and styles to apply.

I'm using OpenBoR engine for my games. It's engine mainly to make Beatm ups but it could be customized to create platformers, shmups, metroidvanias, action RPG and 1vs1 fighting game.

Devruary Day 8: What Engine Are You Using In Your Current Game?

Currently for all games I'm using Unity. I want to learn to work naturally in it before moving to other engines and same with others

The bad dev habit I quit doing was compared to other game dev. Self-doubt can play at times when you encounter experience game dev. But what I learned be yourself and don't compare to other game dev but learn from them to be a better dev.
