Cool game you have here, wow! Just played Ruvor Rush and I reeeally suck at it, but I want to try more

This is my entry to Boss Rush Jam 2025 whose theme is : Spin

Story: You play as Braxus, a raider hunting for challenge. He's arrived on planet Ruvor to challenge strong creatures to prove his might. How far can you go? can you defeat the strongest creature in Ruvor?

Controls:

NumPad keys = move hero and aim shots

Z = Jump

X = Shoot Axe (can aim and shoot in 8 directions)

C = Shoot Shield (can aim and shoot in 8 directions)

Down+Z = Drop off platform

Enter = Pause or confirm

F8 = Take a screenshot

Features:

- Continuous axe shooting by holding shoot button.

- 8 directional shooting for both axe and shield.

- Protective shield.

- Upgrade options.

- Multiple bosses (duh).

Enjoy this challenging and fun game!

I got new bramble and thistle sprites from a friend. I've also added more layers. The game is almost complete however I'm balancing stuffs to make it play better.
