My very embarassing Blender assignement I had to do in 11th grade (April 2024), had to go to the exam to pass LOL

I modelled everything (except for some minimal objects), I got the textures online and later animated this.

( Read for credits and more )

The stuff I didn't model was the water bottle, the fork, the microwave and the cup. The teacher gave us these objects and others avaliable to use since we were only told to model the furniture and the important parts.

I gave a visit to my classroom account and found some info on the creators of the objects in the .zip files, although some of them had no contents in it anymore for some reason:

  • Microwave: 3DHaupt (aka dennish2010)

  • Fork: Unfortunally the .zip file has no contents in it.

  • Water bottle: No READ ME file in it, I think it might've been my teacher that modelled it.

  • Cup: No contents either.

I got the textures online on a website that our teacher told us to use. I don't remember what website was it though.

I also modelled a whole dishwasher and the inside of it (took me the longest), but then I forgot to show it in the animation and delivered it like this...

I failed from having too many absences (highschool was too insufferable to go everyday), but later did the exam in 12th grade and passed. I had to do the same thing but for a different division and I only needed to render an image of it at the end, all in 2 hours max (this time we had no free objects avaliable).

I also uploaded this on my YouTube!

The music was later added just now. Who wants to be in a kitchen in dead slience?

#Devruary KoGaMa! I always spent my time in there making my own maps and my avatars (skins) to then play on other user created maps, this idea of creating stuff that then you and others can play on it stuck with me and that's how I wanted to make games.

#Devruary Sidetracking between different projects at once!

I had this bad habit for a very long time, I'd be working on a game and then weeks later I'd be working on another game at the same time, and then leave the other game abandoned and so on.

Happiest Day

#Devruary I learnt some of it as I made small games on Scratch over the years until I left it for other engines.

And I'd watch devlogs and tips for devs on Youtube once in a while where I learnt some new stuff about gamedev (although I'm still a newbie).

Happy #WIPWednesday! Are you working on a game? Making some art? Practicing a song? Something else? Tell us in the comments!

Inspired by 5 different artists I found on DeviantArt.

#Devruary I'm using GB Studio!

It's an engine for developing games for the Gameboy (DMG & Colour) systems. (Many devs got to put their games on cartidges and play them on the actual consoles!)

It's block coding based so it's very easy to get the hang of.

#Devruary I always had this habit of backing up the project files, game assets and even concept art on my drive.

It's very useful for archiving stuff and if you need to recover something (or if you simply want to look back at your old stuff).
