Following this post, the next one will be the Fire Ability Showcase! Congrats to everybody who guessed correctly. Then after, there may be a lack of update for a while, as I'm advancing wayyyy further into development.
My current goal is to reveal the game in its true form (with title & all) near the end of September. In case I don't make it in time, since my life could become quite busy in the next months, it will be delayed until it's fully ready to be shown.
This fan-game is going to be a successor to Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, boasting the same type of open-world gameplay while fixing a lot of its flaws, also being its very own thing in the process. It's very exciting, but also quite the undertaking, so I hope you're all patient with me, as I'm just a solo dev just doing this to practice some skills as a game creator. Thanks to everybody for supporting this little idea of mine, hoping it's all worth it in the end!

New move + general update time! This time, it's the Cartwheel Hop! Press A while sliding to execute this fancy technique! #kirby #kirbyenginedemo #gamedev #video #gamemaker #pixelart #gaming #videogame #nintendo

As y'all can see, I've also changed my username quite a bit. And as proof, I've decided to post this video about Bombchus! Made my twitter backup alexaugerdev_z public, so if y'all can share it there, it might help save someone from a potential fraud
On this day 3 years ago, I released a Kirby fangame prototype done in a month's work. No copy ability, only one level... Here's Wacky Episode in its infancy.
Max speed in Kirby Quick, Rainbow Islands Had this recorded for funsies before I left, showing just how fast you can go if you fully upgrade Kirby's stats in this extra mode.
Happy Video Game Day!
July 8 is Video Game Day, a holiday that's obviously close to our hearts at Game Jolt.
Celebrate by completing our quests! They won't be around long, so get the rewards while you can.
Wanted to show off some of my girlfriend's custom design drawing for video game characters. One is a jellyfish-themed Zora, and the other 2 are based on Dragon Quest monsters. We might be working together on the Zelda project soon :)
