General in Game Dev

Post GameDev things!

Happy Devruary!

Devruary Day 25 celebrates @Ulisan ! They're an old-school gamer and the game dev behind multiple fighting games!

We also have a question for the devs of Game Jolt:
What does success look like for your current project?

#PrototypeRevived is currently looking for people who can code or optimize the project. The game is made in UE4.27.2. If you're interested msg me on discord @SmallPotato95 with information on what you can do and projects you've previously worked on.

#Devruary What Scares Me Most About Releasing A Game?, well I'm afraid that my game will be bad if I release it and everyone thinks that this is a bad game, that's why I'm afraid to release my games...

#Devruary

My biggest fear when releasing my game is I forgot to check if the game is working or not or buggy or not.

#Devruary What scares me most about releasing a game? I haven't released a game yet, but I think what would scare me the most would be game breaking bugs, nobody liking my game, and the crippling silence of a failed launch.

For day 1146 of coding, I tried shortening the invulnerability period and making the "blinks" more rapid to see how it looks overall

My game Upon Aghast Chapter One is released

A bit about the game:

What if what we were told is a lie? What if fairytales are not what we thought they were?

What if the truth is much darker?

The game is 2D hand drawn horror point and click puzzle game.
