The final 1-bit Metroid of 2021 was the Omega Metroid from the 3DS remake. I liked the original too, but preferred the 3DS version. 
I am happy with the sprite, but the animation needs some love given what I've learned since 2021.

I thought I’d share a WIP today. After avoiding this for sometime (I don’t know why), I finally got some work done on my next survival horror piece.
I’ve updated the HUD and got the foreground scene in, though I still have a lot to do. 
I've been progressing a lot in the game, taking advantage of the free time, I don't want to leave the account inactive so here you have this simple cinematic that doesn't make spoilers of any kind!
