Concept
Players are in love with The Rose. Make the right decisions, to beat the competition!
In Rue, one player has The Rose in front of them, while the other players are trying to take it back.
Cards can be used to move The Rose around, allow you to grab it, or plainly steal it from others. All players play their card at the same time, making the right decisions is the key to victory.
The game is played in rounds that last a couple of minutes each. Once a player has won ~3 rounds, they are the winner.

Been messing around with new ideas to see what works.
This one was way more unsettling than I expected.
I've been messing around with transparency in #OpenGL.
I also updated the main logo of "Rue" to have alpha. The difference is shown in the image attached.
This will allow me to use more transparency, to significantly improve its visuals.
From rendering 3D meshes as text, the game "Rue" will now be using 2D fonts, which are easier to read, and allow a bigger selection of characters.
This is also the first step to make translating the game into multiple other languages.
The past few months, I got the first physical prototype for my latest card game "Rue".
I did some playtest sessions with friends, and got feedback and new ideas for what to implement. Thanks to everyone for giving it a go!
My 3D card game "Rue" just got an update with the first 5 stages and a fix on a rendering issue.
Its compilation process has been improved, and it is now available in the Microsoft Store.

I made a small video showing some gameplay from the alpha build of the card game "Rue". What do you think?
